I hope everyone is putting on their new gym shorts and headed to a great new year!  Many of you attended the physical education workshops conducted by fabulous Teachers of the Year.  The lesson plans will be posted here in the next week so please check back.  We are under construction and there has been a slight delay posting. It is worth checking back! Some of the great lessons coming:

Middle School games using heart rate monitors

Jump bands

Fitness testing for Adapted Physical Education

Standards in Action and how to educate your students about the standards

I had the opportunity to work with the newest group of Teachers of the Year sponsored by NASPE and watch them as they presented at the James Madison University summer workshop. What an incredible group of teachers!
