NEWS: “SMALL STEP” VIDEO CONTEST FEATURING NBA FIT & BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS CALL AMERICANS TO SHOW US WHAT THEY’VE GOT
The “Small Step Video Contest” launches this month in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, the Ad Council, the National Basketball Association, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. To complement the already successful “Small Steps” Obesity Prevention campaign, the contest invites teens and young adults to submit original videos demonstrating the creative and fun small steps they can take to get healthy.
Washington Wizards point guard Gilbert Arenas, an NBA All-Star and member of the NBA FIT team, invites you to submit your video for the chance to win up to $2,500 in cash and prizes from NBAStore.com. Arenas will participate in the selection of the winning submission and will announce the winners in Washington, D.C. after the contest’s completion. Submissions must be uploaded on YouTube® before October 7th.
It’s then up to you to motivate your friends to take small steps by sharing your video with everyone you know from October 8th to October 28th.
